Lear is a lovely mare who enjoys having a job.

She is a former steeplechaser who declined the offer to become a broodmare, she is back under saddle.

With only 30 days professional training since having 18 months off, she hacks quietly alone or in company. She is very well balanced and is enjoying learning basic dressage.

As you may suspect being a former steeplechaser, she loves jumping. She is forward to the fences without rushing and is still tidy with her knees.

I can see her excelling as a jumper or eventer and possible a straight dressage horse.

Due to the timing of the season, I have not had her out with hounds but her former trainer thinks she would enjoy fox hunting, as well.
